About the Library

Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College has a well-equipped library with a state-of art infrastructure specially designed to help nursing students expand their knowledge. It is designed to promote essential teaching- learning skills and gain adequate knowledge. Each academic year the library purchases the latest editions of nursing books for both reference and circulation, to ensure earliest access to the latest material available.

This library contains collection of books and journals, including subscriptions to Indian and foreign newspapers. Students can also have access to all magazines and newspapers. Internet access is also available, giving students the opportunity to receive extensive online education, wherever permitted. Students are encouraged to make full use of the library facilities while following the library rules and regulations. Regular visits to the library not only enhance the knowledge of students and researchers, but also keep them updated with the latest information and advancements available in the library.

Issue/Circulation Procedure

Users can borrow Text Books for a maximum of 7 working days.

After due date if the book is still necessary, the user should renew the books in person.

Reference Books, Journals, Magazines, Thesis are only for reference in the library and will not be issued to the user.

Rules

The library rules are common and will apply to all the library users:
• Student ID card is mandatory to use the library services.
• Users must always maintain strict discipline and silence in the library.
• Users must not alter the arrangement of any furniture.
• Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the library.
• Users shall not place materials (books, journals, etc.) themselves directly on the shelves.
• Pages of a book should not be folded/torn for notes.
• Marking or making annotations with ink or lead on the pages of library books is prohibited.
• Laptops are allowed with proper permission.
• The library authorities will have all right to withdraw library services of a user if he/she violates the library rules or misbehaves inside the library.
