Sanskriti Vibhag

It is the University’s motto to instil principles and to remind the youth of their roots. It helps us to spread awareness about our Sanskars and Rashtriyata. Each of the University’s buildings, roads, gates have been named after a National soldier, forgotten martyr and sons of mother India who fought for our freedom.

The ‘Sanskriti Vibhag’ ensures that all new roads and buildings within the campus are named appropriately, their description is written and is visible at a place that is approachable and legible by all.

The Vibhag also has a museum wherein one can find the treasure trove of books on our national heroes and martyrs. Homage is paid, each day, to the two ‘Sidh Peeth’ of ‘Netaji and Swami Ji’ which have been established within the museum.

The Vibhag is also responsible for releasing a list of ‘Subharti Days’ at the beginning of every year. Each important day is allocated to one of the constituent colleges, to be celebrated by involving the students and encouraging participation, thus spreading awareness on our Inspiring Personalities. These days are celebrated on the birth/death anniversary of the personalities.

Multiple donation activities such as the donation of blankets, food items or other items of need are also done on the‘Subharti Day’ each month.

The MOU of UnMukt Bharat is also managed by the Sanskriti Vibhag, under which numerous charitable and activities as a part of the institutional social responsibility of the University are regularly handled.

One such recent donation activity was the distribution of shoes to 1000 children in need, donation of blankets to over 500 poor senior citizens and the free food distribution at the University gate which has created waves around the nation and is revered to be the first free food camp in the country to run for 1000 days.
