FINANCE COMMITTEE

The Finance Committee of the University is the principal financial body of the University which takes care of the financial matters. The Finance Committee guides the Finance Officer on matters relating to the administration of the property and funds of the University. In regard to the income and resources of the University, it may fix limits for the total recurring and non recurring expenditure within the approved budget of the ensuing financial year. The budget and financial estimates of the University prepared by the Finance Committee for the ensuing financial year is placed before the Executive Council of the University. Women Empowerment Committee

As per the directions of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, the following two committees “Mahila Shashaktikaran Committee” and “Women Empowerment Cell” have been clubbed together. Henceforth the committee will be called “Women Empowerment Committee (महिला सशक्तिकरण समिति )” and following will be the members of the committee:

Dy. Registrar (NT) will provide secretarial assistance to the committee and HOD-Marcom will provide help to the committee concerning webinars and other kinds of online deliberation, as and when required.

All previous notifications concerning “Mahila Shashaktikaran Committee” and “Women Empowerment Cell” will be abolished.

University Disaster Management Committee

In reference to letter No. U-769/SVSU/2019/2699 dated 23.08.2019 superseding all the previous orders regarding Suraksha Samiti, I have been directed to inform Suraksha Samiti will now onwards be known as “University Disaster Management Committee” and to make it more effective, & administratively convenient to optimize the result, the constitution of the committee has been modified.

Scope of work:  The committee will be responsible for all disaster scenarios, emergency services and help toward university residents in case of problems. The committee will be responsible to arrange fire, earthquake, transport etc. drills.

Meeting frequency: The committee will meet at least four times in a year and propose a corrective/improvement processor/method to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor.
