University Faculty Development Cell

University Faculty Development Cell was constituted with a prime objective of Incessant & Multifold Development of Faculty Members emphasizing the creation of motivated, energized & capable faculty. The capacity building of faculty has been one of the major thrust areas in the field of higher education. Continuous professional development of faculty in all disciplines is required in light of the dynamic nature of teaching learning pedagogy. The cell was inaugurated by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Maj. Gen. (Dr.) G. K. Thapliyal, SM at MMM auditorium. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor emphasized on the importance of Faculty Development Programme.

Scope of University Faculty Development Cell

Faculty Development Programmes are conducted round the year for Assistant Professors, Associate Professors &Professors of all constituent colleges of the University by UFDC. FDPs refer to Life Skills Management oriented topics &Academics oriented topics. FDPs are conducted as per the standard outline. The outline comprises Relevant Materials, Presentation, Interactive Session, Brainstorming Session, Management Games, Situational Analysis etc. Certificates of the participations are awarded to the participating faculty members. Certificates are provided to the resource persons as well. The detailed report of every FDP conducted is prepared with the feedback of participants to improve the quality of FDPs. Internal & External resource persons are invited to conduct the FDPs. FDPs are generally conducted in Madan Mohan Malviya Auditorium. Thus, Faculty Development Programmes are a perpetual feature of the University.
