Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, established in the year 2013, was founded with the vision of imparting quality education and fostering excellence in scientific research. The College was later renamed in the honor of the renowned freedom fighter Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja (1753–1805), popularly known as the “Lion of Kerala” (Kerala Singham), symbolizing courage, integrity, and visionary leadership.
The College presently comprises five departments:

All departments are supported by modern infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, and qualified, experienced faculty committed to academic excellence and student mentorship. All programs are fully NEP-aligned (National Education Policy 2020 compliant), promoting multidisciplinary learning, skill development, research orientation, value-based education, curriculum flexibility, and outcome-based teaching.
The curriculum is designed to meet contemporary academic standards and evolving industry needs. Students are encouraged to participate in national and international seminars and conferences, workshops and skill development programs, educational and industrial visits, research projects and field-based learning, as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
