Department of Agriculture

Department of Agriculture offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. We combine rigorous laboratory training, field trails, and research-led teaching to prepare students for careers in research and development, agriculture industries, policy and other Agriculture sectors.

About the department

The Department of Agriculture at the university level serves as a centre for education,research, and extension in agriculture and allied fields, aiming to produce skilled professionals who can address global challenges such as food security, environmental sustainability, and rural development Agricultural science is a multidisciplinary field. Students are exposed to a wide array of subjects and specializations.
