The Department of Basic Sciences at Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, under Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, is dedicated to the advancement of scientific understanding and innovation. The Department of Basic Sciences offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed to meet current academic and industrial demands. Programs include B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in various disciplines of Basic Sciences. The curriculum integrates theoretical learning with practical training to ensure comprehensive development.
Infrastructure & Facilities:

Each laboratory is equipped with advanced tools and resources to facilitate hands-on learning and experimental skills. The central library houses a vast collection of books, journals, and e-resources for research and academic growth as well with establishment of departmental library.

The departments encourage collaborative research projects, publications, and participation in conferences and workshops. The faculties of Department are actively engaged in diversified areas of research including Analytical and Applied Chemistry such as developing advanced materials, chemical synthesis and industrial processes, Theoretical and Experimental Physics such as creating new material with advanced properties, Investigating celestial phenomenon, cosmic structure and space exploration, Mathematics and Statistics with focuses areas such as Operational Research, Stability Theory, Inventory control and Management and Reliability Modelling.

They have achieved distinctions in academic and extracurricular domains, showcasing innovation and leadership.
