Welcome to the Department of Forensic Science at the Keral Verma Subharti College of Science. Our department is dedicated to advancing our understanding of Forensic science and its applications as well as to developing innovative solutions to the challenges which facing human societies. In our department, we are offering courses as per CBCS i.e. B.Sc. Forensic Science.
We are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive education in Forensic Science that prepares them for a variety of careers in CBI, Government Forensic Laboratory, Income Tax Department, Crime Branch, Intelligence Bureau etc.
Our curriculum is designed as per Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and investigation skills, as well as to provide a strong foundation in scientific principles under the Forensic science. We offer many opportunities to participate in research projects and internships.
Our department is also committed to engaging with the wider Forensic community. We regularly host guest lectures, seminars, and conferences, and collaborate with industry partners and government agencies to address pressing several issues which can benefitted to mankind.

Undergraduate B.Sc. Forensic Science
Cyber Forensic Expert: You can pursue your career as a Forensics expert who specializes in acquiring and analyzing potential evidence in investigations, even when the data has been deleted, encrypted, or damaged. They possess advanced skills to uncover digital traces, conduct thorough examinations, and provide expert testimony.
Forensic Scientist: A forensic science graduate also work as forensic scientist who provide scientific evidence for use in courts of law to support the prosecution or defense in criminal and civil investigations.
Forensic Science Technician: Forensic graduates can pursue their career as Forensic science technicians aid criminal investigations. They collect and analyze evidence.
Crime Scene Investigator: Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) is in-charge of extracting every possible piece of evidence from a particular crime scene. As a forensic science graduate, you can choose your career as crime scene investigator.
Forensic Pathologist: Forensic pathologist is a subspecialist in pathology whose area of special competence is the examination of persons who die suddenly, unexpectedly or violently. The forensic pathologist is an expert in determining cause and manner of death.
Drug Analyst: A forensic science graduate can pursue their career as Drug Analyst. They identify novel drugs, assesses their affinity, specificity, and their molecular structures.
Forensic Toxicology: Graduates pursue their career who involves in analyzing biological samples for the presence of drugs, alcohol, and other toxic substances.
Forensic DNA Analysis: This specialization focuses on analyzing DNA samples to find individuals or match evidence to suspects. After B.Sc. in forensic science, you can choose this field as your career.
Cyber Forensics: A graduate in forensics science pursue their career in cyber forensics. This specialization involves the investigation of computer systems and digital devices to gather evidence for legal proceedings.
