Department of Civil Engineering runs undergraduate programme in Civil Engineering. The department has vast scope due to present employment status in various sectors associated with Civil Engineering at National and International level. Civil Engineering is not confined to infrastructure development only. It includes vast area of research in Ecology & Environment, Transportation, Development of Hydro-Electric Power, Design and Installation of Water Supply System, Water Management and Treatment, Natural Resource & Waste Management, Hydrological Studies, Storm Water Management, Rain Water Harvesting, Climate Change Studies and many multipurpose projects like Reservoir Operation & Dam Construction. By selecting this curriculum, students will have bright future in multifaceted streams of Civil Engineering.
