The Department of Environmental Engineering runs a postgraduate program in Environmental Engineering & Management. Environmental Engineering has immense potential and the scope is increasing year on year in different fields such as Water and Waste Water Treatment, Air Pollution Control and Monitoring , Sustainable use of Energy, Identification and Mitigation of Risks posed by Industrial Hazards and Environmental Impact Assessment, Natural Resources and Management And Solid Waste Management.  The department of Environmental Engineering aims to create a conducive, enabling academic environment to facilitate integration of knowledge & skills to young minds by the logic of the present system and to develop educational means by association of student- faculty common efforts.  Environmental Engineering and Management as a subject is a broad spectrum one. It has generated a lot of scope for aspiring students in India, in the government as well as corporate sectors.
