Internet of Things & Intelligent System

With advancement in technology, we are progressing towards the world of Internet of Things. The idea is to connect the devices we use in our daily lives with one another through the internet in a way that they function more efficiently with minimal human intervention. The B.Tech CSE with Specialization in Internet of Things program has been specially designed with inputs from industry veterans.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

B.Tech - Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), will enable the students to be ready for Industry 4.0 emerging and exponential technologies. Machine learning is the science of getting computers to learn and act without being explicitly programmed. It is one of the most exciting technologies of Industry 4.0 which makes computers very similar to humans under their "ability to learn" and is considered to be the best way to make progress toward human-level AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Electric Vehicles

This course provides a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of Electric Vehicles (EVs), especially in the context of India. As part of the course, students will be exposed to technology associated with each element of an EV drive-train; they will also study the economics of EVs in comparison with petrol-powered vehicles.

Computer Science and Engg

The M. Tech. program in Computer Science and Engineering is designed to enable students to be with familiar with concepts, processes and technology in diverse areas of Computer Science & Engineering.

Program aims at preparing the students to take up application, research and development activities in core and some emerging areas in Computer Science, with focus on Neural Networks, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and Software Engineering related applications in a distributed computing environment.

  The program includes advanced level courses in Computer Architecture, Networking, Algorithms, Data Bases, Distributed Computing and Artificial Intelligence.

 

Cyber Security

The M. Tech. program in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Cyber Security is designed to enable students to be with familiar with concepts, processes and technology in diverse areas of Cyber Security.

Cyber Security is the area of study involving technologies, processes, frameworks, conceptual models and practices designed to protect data, communication, devices (computers, phones, sensors etc.), programs and applications from attack, damage or threats.

It prepares students to obtain knowledge for new age career opportunities in cyber security and information assurance. The program consists of topical areas dealing with concepts of information security, risk assessment, policies, procedures, security controls and countermeasures, incidents response, architecture, security management and governance.

RF and Microwave Engg

RF and microwave engineering falls under the electronics engineering subcategory. RF and microwave engineering specialists design, build, and operate equipment that transmits or receives radio waves. Objects in this field include radios, cell phones, wireless devices, and some other objects. RF and microwave engineering is the secondary branch of engineering that includes almost everything from sending or receiving a radio wave and is not limited to cell phones, radios, Wi-Fi and other devices that are under radio frequency. This course has lot of job opportunities

Power Electronic & Drives

M.Tech.-Power Electronics and Drives is a postgraduate Power Electronics Course. The power electronics suite provides easy-to-use tools for electrical, thermal, electromagnetic, electromechanical, circuit, control and system design.  This specialization combines state-of-the-art technologies with conventional technologies, for example, power semiconductor devices, electronics, electromagnetic, digital signal processors, and control theory, EMC and energy technology. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters and it is career orienting in nature that opens many job scopes for them.

Production Engg

M.Tech in Production Engineering is a postgraduate in Production Engineering course. Manufacturing technology and management science are usually combined in production engineering. The primary goal of which is to complete the production processes cost-effectively and efficiently. Engineering materials, machining technology, casting technology, physical and mechanical joining processes, tool engineering, production systems, metrology, automation, and rapid manufacturing are all covered in the Production Engineering curriculum. It's an interdisciplinary field that requires people with backgrounds in industrial engineering, production engineering, product design, marketing, finance, and corporate strategy to work together.

Computer Science & Engineering

Electrical & Electronics Engg.

Doctor of Philosophy or Ph.D. (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) is a doctorate level course which involves in depth study of various aspects of electrical and electronic engineering and generally takes around 3 years to complete. Students holding or qualifying an M.E. or M.Tech. Degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks is eligible to apply for this course.

 

Mechanical Engg.

INTRODUCTION TO THE 3 D PRINTING

3D printing is a process where a digital model created using computer-aided design software (CAD) is turned into a physical three-dimensional object by adding material a layer at a time. There are many methods of melting or softening the material to produce the layers.3D printing or additive manufacturing is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. It can be done in a variety of processes in which material is deposited, joined or solidified under computer control with material being added together (such as plastics, liquids or powder grains being fused), typically layer by layer.
