Brief note on National Seminar on "Contemporary Issues in Management in India '' organized by AVGSCMC, Faculty of Management and Commerce, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.

Today, on 25.03.2023, a national seminar was organized by Acharya Vishnu Gupt Subharti College of Management and Commerce under Faculty of Management & Commerce of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. In this seminar, presenters of research papers from different states Karnataka, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, etc. presented their research papers on contemporary issues related to various fields of management and commerce. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. R.K. Ghai, Dean and Director, Management and Commerce & he felicitated Dr. Atul Mathur, Director IME Sahibabad, Mr. Krishan Singh, General Manager (Times Pro) and Mr. Ravindra Pandey, Business Head, Ananda Dairy, they were all Guests of Honour.

After this Dr. Ghai delivered a welcome address wherein he focused on contemporary issues in management in India viz. economic pressure, globalization, innovation, customer service, corporate social responsibility, and World Trade Organization pressure in management. Guests of Honour stressed on the research gap in management, time management, unemployment and lack of innovation in India. Researchers presented their research papers in the morning & evening sessions. At the end of the event, Dr. Nisha Singh delivered the concluding remark. Dr. Ghai gave away the certificates of their research papers to the researchers. Selected  research papers will be published in a UGC care journal.Organizing Secretary Dr. Padma Mishra offered the Vote of Thanks.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University Maj Gen (Dr) G.K.Thapliyal and the Chief Executive Officer of the University Dr. Shalya Raj expressed their best wishes for a grand success of the seminar. The event was conducted in hybrid mode.
