He did LL.D from Meerut in the year 2002 on “Injunctive relief with special reference to Law of Torts”. He did LL.M. from Lucknow in the Year 1983. He has a High Court Practice Experience of more than 8 years and he was also serving as a part time teacher in various law universities simultaneously. He became full time teacher in the year 1987 in N.A.S. College, Meerut, Ch. Charan Singh University and joined B.H.U in the year 2006 as a Professor. He is a founder member of Maulana Azad Academy Lucknow, member of Indian Law Institute, Delhi and former member of High Court Bar, Lucknow (Awadh). He has handled various administrative posts till date. He is the Editor in Chief of Faculty Law Journal, Meerut, Member of Editorial Board - Half yearly journal of Social Sciences, published from J.P. Nagar. He has been a visiting faculty to Ch. Charan Singh University for more than 10 years. He has presented and attended various Articles/Seminar. He has already guided 4 Ph.D. and currently guiding 7 Ph.D scholars. His book “Strong Arm of the Court”, published from Meerut is widely acclaimed book in the field of Law. He has completed one Minor Project by U.G.C on Civil Law. His areas of expertise are Labour Laws, Family Law & Civil Procedure.
Dr Khushal Vibhute, who is a recipient of distinction at the graduate and post-graduate studies in law and of Fellowships from the Hague Academy of International Law (the Netherlands); the International Institute of Human Rights, Strasburg (France), the UN Human Rights Centre, Geneva (Switzerland), and Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public & International Law, Heidelberg (Germany), is Professor of Law & Director, Amity Law School, Amity University Mumbai, and Honorary Professor Emeritus, National Law University, Jodhpur. Professor Vibhute, whose biographical sketch has been included in Who’s Who in the World (USA:1999-2018); Great Minds of the 21st Century (USA:2001); One Thousand Great Asians (UK:2002); Outstanding Scholars of 21st Century (UK: 2002); Leading Educators of the World (UK:2005), and Who’s Who in Asia (USA:2007; 2017), has been Professor of Law at various Universities of repute in India and abroad, including the University of Pune, Pune (India); National Law University, Jodhpur (India); Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur (India); Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia); the University of Technology MARA, Shah Alam (Malaysia); National University of Malaysia, Bangi (Malaysia); Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, Brunei Darussalam (Brunei), and Bremen University, Bremen (Germany). Prof Vibhute has authored/edited fourteen (14) books, and has also contributed to sixteen (16) anthologies. Many of these publications are published by LexisNexis Butterworths and Eastern Book Company, and are prescribed as textbooks in Indian and foreign Universities. He has also to his credit, one hundred and seventeen articles (117) in reputed law journals across the globe. He has contributed to the ILI’s prestigious Annual Survey of Indian Law. He has also participated, with papers, in more than seventy (70) international and national conferences. Professor Vibhute has/is worked/working on academic bodies (like Board of Studies & Academic Council) of a number of Universities/Institutes in India. He has travelled on academic assignments to the Netherlands; France; Switzerland; Germany; Hong Kong; Italy; Ethiopia; Malaysia; Singapore; Brunei, and USA. Professor Vibhute is/was a member of the Editorial/Advisory Boards of the Journal of the Indian Law Institute; Asian Yearbook of International Law; Scholasticus; International Journal of Criminal Justice Science; Ethiopian Journal of Legal Education, and International Journal of Law and Policy. He is a life member of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi; Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi; Environmental Scientists Association of India; International Jurists Organization (Asia); South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology; Indian Society of Criminology; Indian Society of Victimology, and IUCN Academy of Environmental Law, Ottawa, Canada. He is the Vice-President of the Indian Society of Victimology (ISV).
He has been a student of this Faculty from 1971 and joined as a faculty member in 1978. He has specialization in contemporary areas of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Information Technology Law, e-commerce and e governance and convergence, Law Relating to Multinational Corporations, Autonomy to Electronic Media and Broadcast Law, Legislative Drafting and Interpretation of statutes and Administrative Law, Commercial Laws etc. He is administrative and academic Head to three law centers and PG and Research wings of Faculty of Law with total capacity of 7000 students and 150 teachers. He is reelected as a member of Governing Council, Indian Law Institute from 2013-2016. He has written various law books, some of them being Copyright Law of India, Law of Trade Marks In India.
He has more than 27 years of teaching and research experience. He has been member of 19th Law Commission of India. He has been an elected member of the Governing Council of the Indian Law Institute. He also served as a member of Delhi Legal Services Authority and many other academic bodies like Indian Institute of Public Administration, member of Board of Studies, Faculty of Law, Kashmir University. He has authored and edited more than 10 books on various subjects such as Women and Law, Human Rights, Islamic Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law and Industrial Jurisprudence. He has more than 50 research articles published in National and International Journals to his credit. He is founder editor of Indraprastha Technology Law Journal.
He did his Doctorate in International Law from Jawaharlal Nehru University, LL.M. from the University of Nottingham and LL.B from University of Delhi. In 1998 he attended the 29th session of the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. His areas of specializations are Human Rights, Constitutional Law, International Humanitarian and Refugee Law, International Criminal Law, International Law and International Institutions. He is serving as the member of editorial boards of various reputed national and international journals.
He was offered prestigious visiting Professorship at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Lund, Sweden, for (2004-2005). Prior to joining the Indian Law Institute, he was teaching at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences as Professor of Law. He also served the Indian Society of International Law as its Director (2006-2009). In year 2007, he has been elected as Secretary of All India Law Teachers Congress (AILTC) and again re-elected in 2009, 2011& 2013 for another two years term. He has been regularly delivering lectures at various institutions outside of the university, namely, law colleges in India and abroad, UGC Academic staff College, training program of the ICRC, training programme of Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Environment and Forests.
