An artist par excellence, Dr.Pintu Mishra did his post-graduation in Drawing and Painting in the year 1988 from N.A.S Degree College, Meerut. He later took up various courses like IGD Bombay in the year 1989, Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts & ITI Textile Diploma from Delhi and NCR polytechnic and craftwork Indore and cleared all these Exams with ‘A’ grade. Dr.Pintu Mishra’s area of specialization is painting and he has experimented and developed in various mediums like acrylic colour, oil painting, water and poster colours. Through all these mediums he has carved a niche for himself by establishing in realistic form of art. His works of art are much sought after by his fans and art lovers both in India and abroad.

Shades and hues were added to the palette of his life when he won many awards. He has been conferred the National Award from Delhi College of Art, New Delhi. His perseverance, untiring devotion and unflagging zeal were awarded when he bagged the “Kala Ratan" in 2005 and “Kala Shree" in 2006. He has to his credit the widely acclaimed exhibition “Kala Sahil". He was recently decorated with the Rajiv Gandhi Award, which has added to the list of his other 57 awards. A published author of various books on Fine Arts, Mr. Mishra has achieved many milestones in his illustrious career but he believes that “Best is yet to come”.
