The Department of Defence and Strategic Studies functions under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. The Department offers B.A. Defence and Strategic Studies, M.A. Defence and Strategic Studies with specialization under NEP-2020, and Ph.D. programmes in Defence and Strategic Studies. It is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and academic engagement in the fields of Defence Studies, Strategic Affairs, National Security, International Relations, Geopolitics, Cyber Security, Peace and Conflict Studies, and Emerging Security Challenges.
