The Governing Council is the supreme authority of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The council meets annually to take policy decisions that have financial implications, the general management of the affairs of the University and in particular the control of the property and expenditure of the University

- Mrs. Stuti Kacker, present Chancellor of the University
- Dr. A.K. Asthana, former Principal of Subharti Medical College
- Dr. Heero Hito, president of the MTV BRCT
- Dr. Shalya Raj, CEO of the University
- Dr. Rohit Ravinder, trustee of MTV BRCT
- Dr. Akanksha Singh, trustee of MTV BRCT
- Dr. Krishna Murty, trustee of MTV BRCT
