Ph.D. Admission Notification (January, 2025)
Duration – Minimum three (03) Yrs.
Eligibility -at least 55% marks in post-graduation (wherever marks allocated). For Medical subjects MD/MS/PG Diploma or MSc. Medical in a relevant subject.
Note: - Relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility criteria for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently–abled categories candidates will be given.
Full Time ResidentialCandidates under this category shall be appointed as Junior Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow. They shall conduct research in the Subharti Research & Development Cell and/ or in research laboratories of Departments of Subharti University. The JRF and SRF shall be paid fellowship allowance by S.V. Subharti University if not by another outside funding agency.
Prescribed application form is available at the Registrar’s office or may be downloaded from the University website: www.subharti.org/phd-registration, Duly filled application form (in hard copy) should reach Joint-Director (Research)’s office at Central Research and Incubation Center, along with required documents and non-refundable DD worth Rs. 1500/- (including test fee) in favour of ‘Swami Vivekanand Subharti University’ payable at Meerut, latest by 15th December 2024. Amount may also be paid online through the above link.
Date: - Entrance Test for Ph.D. programs will be conducted online on 5th January 2025 only.
Applications of non-eligible candidates & incomplete application forms will not be considered. Login details for Entrance Test will be issued only to eligible candidates & sent through email only.
Only qualified candidates of Entrance Test will be called for an Interview, Merit list will be declared after Interview. The date and time of Interview will be notified separately.
The applicants who have qualified UGC-JRF/CSIR/NET/SLET/GATE or M.Phil. are required to indicate accordingly in the application form for exemption from the written part of the Ph.D. Entrance Test.

Test Pattern: - The Entrance Test shall be of hundred (100) multiple choice questions. 50 questions shall be on Research Methodology, intended to assess research aptitude of the candidate. The Remaining 50 questions will be from the subject for which the candidate is applying.
