SCHOOL LEVEL :
Any student of 11th or 12th Grade
TEAM COMPOSITION:
Each team shall consist of two speakers. (One for the motion and another against the motion)
Maximum two teams from any school can participate.
REGISTRATION FORMALITIES:
Each team must register online with the Organizing committee of debate competition by filling registration form.
Registration fee: Rs 250/- per team (Early Bird: Rs 200/- per team)
Note: Registration fee is symbolic to ensure seriousness among participants.
MODE OF PAYMENT:
The payment for registration fee shall be made through the link provided in the webpage.
NOTE:- Kindly keep the screenshot of the transaction made for payment of registration fees.
RULES FOR THE DEBATE:
- A speaker can speak either in English or Hindi .
- Each speaker would be given three (3) minutes to speak.
- If a speaker crosses the limit of three minutes, he/she may face deduction of marks.
- Assistance from written manuscript may lead to adverse marking.
- While presentation if the participant is disconnected due to network problem then only 15-30 seconds shall be provided for reconnecting. After that the decision of the judges shall be final in this regard.
- In case of issue/dispute, decision of debate organizing committee shall be final.
- Decision of the judges would be final and cannot be challenged.
DRESS CODE:
All the participants are required to wear schools uniform during their presentation.
Students are expected not to reveal their identity during the presentation.
CERTIFICATES
The following categories of certificate shall be given-
- Ist Best Speaker Certificate
- IInd Best Speaker Certificate
- IIIrd Best Speaker Certificate
- Best Team Certificate
- Certificates will be given to all participating team.
Note: Certificates (hard copy) shall be dispatched to all the participants, so kindly mention correct address in the registration form.
