Ms. Aarohi Tiwari, a student of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University has been awarded the International Record for the most number of spins in 30 seconds within the Kathak Dance category. This prestigious record has been achieved by the student due to her tireless efforts and dedication. Aarohi is pursuing legal education in Kathak dance from the Department of Performing Arts for the last 5 years. She has given her Kathak dance performances in many forums of the University and within the country. It is a matter of pride for Subharti University, Meerut that such Kathak dancers are coming forward from Meerut city, who have made their mark on the world stage. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. (Dr.) VP Singh and Chief Executive Officer, Prof. (Dr.) Shayla Raj appreciated the dedication and congratulated Aarohi. Prof (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts and Dr. Bhavna Grover, Head of the Department of Performing Arts, honoured Aarohi and congratulated her and said that it is not only a matter of pride for the Faculty and University but also for Meerut city. Dr. Pintu Minshra added that the incoming students would also take inspiration from Aarohi to illuminate the name of the university not only in the country but also abroad.
सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय की छात्रा आरोही ने बनाया गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय के ललित कला संकाय मे परफॉर्मिंग विभाग की मास्टर कत्थक नृत्य की छात्रा आरोही तिवारी ने पिछले दिनों विश्व कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया, इस कीर्तिमान में आरोही तिवारी ने कथक नृत्य में 30 सेकंड में 55 चक्कर लगाकर गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में अपना नाम दर्ज कराया है | यह कीर्तिमान छात्रा को उनके अथक प्रयास व लगन से प्राप्त हुआ है| आरोही पिछले 5 वर्षों से परफॉर्मिंग आर्ट्स विभाग में कथक नृत्य की विधिक शिक्षा प्राप्त कर रही हैं| आरोही तिवारी, विश्वविद्यालय व देश के अनेक मंचो पर अपनी कत्थक नृत्य की प्रस्तुतियां दे चुकी हैं| यह सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय व मेरठ के लिए गौरव की बात है, मेरठ शहर से ऐसी कत्थक नृत्यांगनायें आगे आ रहे हैं,जिन्होंने विश्व में अपना परचम लहराया है| इस अवसर पर सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति महोदय प्रो० (डॉ०)वी०पी० सिंह व मुख्य कार्यकारिणी महोदया डॉ० शल्या राज ने कार्य को सराहा व बहुत बहुत बधाई दी| ललित कला संकाय के डीन प्रो० (डॉ०) पिंटू मिश्रा व परफॉर्मिंग आर्टस विभाग की विभागाध्यक्षा डॉ भावना ग्रोवर ने आरोही को सम्मानित किया और उनको अनेकानेक बधाई भी दी व कहा कि यह केवल संकाय व विश्वविद्यालय ही नहीं अपितु मेरठ के लिए भी गौरव की बात है, और कहा कि आने वाले छात्र भी आरोही से प्रेरणा लेकर विश्वविद्यालय का नाम देश ही नहीं विदेशों में भी रोशन करेंगे|
