  1. One day national conference on “The importance of science & Engineering in our society” on 18th Feb.’17, organised by Chhatrapati Sahuji Subharti Institute of Technology & Engineering, Meerut.
    REPORT of the conference:
    The conference was organised by the organising committee in which Patron was Dr. N.K. Ahuja (V.C., S.V.S.U.), Organising chairman was Dr. Jayant Shekhar, Chief advisors were Dr. Amit Asthana (HOD CSE/IT), Er. Durgesh Kumar (HOD EEE), Er. Sachin Kumar (HOD ECE), Er. Raushan Kumar (HOD CE), Er. Mukesh Ruhela (HOD EEM) and Er. Anil Kumar (HOD ME). Scientific committee consisted of Dr. Vijay Bhatnagar, Professor and Er. Vishwas Mishra, Asst. Prof. ECE deptt. Treasurer was Dr. Bikas Prasad, Dean, SITE. Organising secretaries were Er,. Manik Panday, AP,CSE, Er. Ajay Kumar, AP, EEE, Er. Archita Bhatnagar, AP, CSE, Ms. Nisha Singh, AP, ASH Deptt., Er. Kaberi Sharma, AP, EEM. The programme was targeted towards all those who had keen interest in knowing the impact of Science & Engineering in our society. Various papers were published and the best papers were awarded.
  2. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Subharti Institute of Technology & Engineering, SVSU, Meerut conducted a Content Searching and Impromptu Technical presentation for the students of CSE, ECE and EEE on the occasion of celebration of International Internet Day 2017 on 3rd November 2017. This event provided the students an opportunity to showcase their presentation skills and intended to help them build confidence in the longer run. Internet day is celebrated on the 29th of October to celebrate the importance of internet in our lives. The Department organized it on 3rd November as per convenience and the program was successfully conducted with the presence of honourable judges from various departments. The program also helped the students explore various technical advancements in and around them and enhanced the knowledge of everyone involved irrespective of their branches.
  3. ‘Faculty Development Programme’ was held in Madan Mohan Malviya Auditorium, SITE on 23rd February’18.
  4. A guest lecture regarding ‘Patent Registration’ by Ms. Pooja Kumar was held on 26th March’18 in Madan Mohan Malviya Auditorium, SITE
  5. ‘FIRE SIDE CHAT’ was held in Madan Mohan Malviya Auditorium, SITE from 31st March’18 to 1st April’18. Mr. Sanjay Sethi, CEO, Shopclues.com came as resource person.
  6. A two days workshop on ‘Stop Managing & Start Leading’ was held in Madan Mohan Malviya Auditorium, SITE on 16th-17th April’18. International Visiting faculty, Mr. Nitin Ahuja was the resource person.
  7. Convocation ceremony was held in Mangalya Convention Centre, SVSU on 23rd April’18 in which the students of SITE were awarded degrees by the Hon’ble Governor of Bihar, Shri Satya Pal Malik.
  8. An Eight days workshop on ‘Universal Human Values and Professional Ethics’ was Conducted in the university from 23rd April’18 to 30th April’18 in which 5 faculty members of SITE participated and were awarded certificates.
  9. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Subharti Institute of Technology & Engineering, SVSU, Meerut conducted a Digital poster making and presentation competition for the students of CSE,IT, ECE, ME,CIVIL,FT and EEE on 24th April 2018. This event was designed in such a way that it encouraged the students to learn as well as adapt their way through various designing softwares by enabling them to think beyond any limits. The students were encouraged to come up with themes related to advancements in their own fields and gave them an opportunity to not only show their designing but presentation skills in front of an audience. The program saw many innovative digital posters being presented by various students of various Departments and all the student participants and winners were felicitated with certificates after the event.
  10. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Subharti Institute of Technology & Engineering, SVSU, Meerut conducted a one day workshop on” BASICS OF RTL-SDR & AUTOMATIC DEPENDENT SURVEILLANCE BROADCAST IN SATELLITE COMMUNICATION “on 22nd May 2018. This workshop dealt with the concepts of RTL-SDR in satellite communications as well as enlightened the students about the concept of ADSB receivers which has become an integral part of today’s aviation industry. The students were engaged with presentations in the first session on the topics of software defined radio (SDR) and Automatic Dependant Surveillance Broadcast (ADSB) and then were given an opportunity to get them exposed to hands on session for SDR as well as ADSB receiver configuration. The workshop saw the students getting actively involved in the practical domain of satellite communication which culminated in them being able to test the signals for both SDR and ADSB receivers successfully. The students were awarded certificate of training in the valedictory function after the successful completion of the workshop.
