Subharti Medical College is steadily progressing towards excellence in Medical Education
under the able leadership of the Principal, Dr. A.K. Asthana. He is a postgraduate
from M.L.N. Medical College, Allahabad, and has been a member of the teaching faculty
in the department of Anatomy for 20 years till 1996, during which time, he had been
one of the most popular teachers amongst his students. Many of his students are
at key-positions in India and abroad.
As professor, he took voluntary retirement from M.L.N. Medical College, Allahabad
in 1996 and joined the faculty of Medicine and later as Chairman of Dept. of Anatomy
at the University of PNG, Australia. During his tenure, he earned the admiration
of one and all, and was rewarded as "the best postgraduate teacher "for several
years.He was one key member in the medical curriculum committee for designing the
problem based learning curriculum for the medical school of the University and a
researcher. He has been an examiner in various national and international universities
and has guided many postgraduates and PhD thesis. He has published several research
papers in reputed national and international journals and has authored books of
Radiological Anatomy and Neuro-anatomy.
He visited several premier Universities of Australia and U.S.A. pursuing his sabbatical
research. He is firm believer in the goodness of humanity and the greatness of Divinity.
He has the vision, determination and grit to make Subharti Medical College, one
of the finest in the Nation.

Completed graduation (BDS) & then Masters ( MDS in Pedodontics with Preventive Dentistry)
from the prestigious King George’s Medical College Lucknow. Recipient of several
Certificates Of Honors in Orthodontics with preventive & children’s dentistry, Medicine
& Surgery, he has more than 20 International and National publications to his credit
and has contributed a number of chapters as author to different books on Paediatric
Dentistry. He has presented several papers as Guest Speaker & has been Guest Faculty
and Examiner to the University of Mauritius.
Having served the Indian Dental Association at state & local levels, he was the
Editor of its journal “Impression” for 4 years and won BEST JOURNAL AWARD in 2004
at national level. He has also served Indian Society of Pedodontics & Preventive
Dentistry (ISPPD) as Executive member for two terms ( 2001-02 & 2002-03) and as
Treasurer(2004-06). An active Rotarian & a team member of Rotary International’s
Inter-Continental Medicare Project, he has been to Zambia, Malawi, Cambodia, Thailand
& Congo for the treatment camps as specialist dental surgeon and recently represented
India as Team Leader of Group Study Exchange Program to Texas ( USA ) 2010. He is
also a Paul Harris Fellow.
He has been nominated for the award of The Fellow of International College of Dentist
2011.

Professor Jayant Shekhar

Prof. Jayant Shekhar- a multidimensional technologist, serves as the Principal of
Subharti Institute of Technology & Engineering (SITE). He obtained his Masters in
Information Technology from Manipal University, M.Tech(IT) from GGSIPU, New Delhi
and Ph.D(Computer Science) from US. He has working experience of India’s topmost
Traditional University,JNU,NewDelhi as well as India’s topmost Professional University,
IP, New Delhi. His research contributions fall in the frontiers of software and
hardware security.
He has to his credit the honour of leading innovative research at the international
levels and has contributed to the growth of science and technology by subcribing
to various journals and by serving the common people in the academics.A Software
know as SanskritaPradipika developed by him is approved by Technology Development
for Indian Languages (TDIL) Programme initiated by the Department of Information
Technology (DIT) Govt. of India and CDAC (Govt. of India) and now it is available
in their website(URL-http://ildc.in/Sanskrit/download/html/SktPradipika.htm) for
public use as a beacon to break language barrier.

Dr. Rajkumar Meena did his schooling from St. Anselm's Higher Secondary School,
Ajmer (Raj.)
He did his Graduation in Physiotherapy from Pt. DUIPH (M.O.S.J. & E. GOI) New Delhi,
affiliated to University of Delhi in 1996 and Post Graduation (M.P.T.) from All
India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Ministry of Health and
Welfare, GOI), Mumbai, affiliated to University of Mumbai, in 1998.
After PG he served as faculty in following institutions (1) As Demostrator, at Pt.
DUIPH, New Delhi, (2) As Reader/Acting Principal, at D.A.V.I.P.T.R., Jalandhar,
affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot, Pb., (3) As Lecturer,
at Composite Regional Centre for People with Disabilities (C.R.C.), Sunder Nagar
Mandi (H.P.) under (M.O.S.J. & E. GOI), (4) As Lecturer, at Department of Rehabilitation,
Guru Jambeshwar University, Hisar, (5) As Senior Consultant Physiotherapist, at
Indo Gulf Diagnostic & Research Centre Noida (UP)
He joined Subharti Physiotherapy College 3 years back as Principal and the College
has progressed much, touching new heights under his able guidance.
He is an intelligent, hard working, dedicated and a result oriented person.

Mrs. (Captain.) Geeta Parwanda

Mrs. (Captain.) Geeta Parwanda is a dedicated and committed leader under whose guidance
Subharti Nursing College is on the road to attaining greater heights of excellence.
She did her Graduation in nursing from AFMC College of Nursing, Pune in 1987 and
got commissioned in regular Army service as a lieutenant and worked in various Military
hospitals, clinical and teaching posts. She did her Post Graduation in Nursing (Community
Health Nursing) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka.
She has been an examiner in various Universities for the Nursing Course. She joined
Subharti Nursing College as principal in 2002 and acquired her Post Graduate Diploma
in Hospital Administration from IGNOU in 2007. She received the ‘Best Officer Award’
in Military Nursing Service in 1990.
She also received the ‘Best Teacher Award’ in 2005 from Lions Club, Meerut and ‘Excellence
Award’ as principal in 2007 from Trained Nurses Association of India, U.P. She was
elected Chairperson, Nursing Service Section from TNAI U.P. State Branch in 2011
and received the ‘Glory of Education Excellence’ Award from the International Institute
of Education & Management, New Delhi in the year 2011.

Dr. Umesh Kumar Singh has done his B.Pharm and M.Pharm from the pioneer department
of Pharmaceutics, I.I.T Banaras (B.H.U) and Ph.D from J.N.U, Jaipur. He has 26 years
of professional and teaching experience. He has guided 22 M.Pharm research projects
and he is a guide to number of Ph.d students in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
He has published over 25 research papers in international and national journals.
Learning is a never-ending process. It requires absolute involvement and complete
commitment from both - the teacher & the learner. It is an intellectual cum
moral exercise where 'the giver and the receiver' ought to vibe on same wave-lengths.
Here, at Kharvel Subharti College of Pharmacy, we are morally bound to equip the

Dr. Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya is designated as Principal of Sardar Patel Subharti Institute
of Law (SARPA-SIL). He has done his Masters in Law in Mercantile Law (Group). He
has completed Doctors in Law (LL.D) in Public Health Law, and P.G. Diploma in Journalism
Mass Com from State Bank of India Officer’s Association Institute and has proved
his academic excellence in various universities.
Starting his career from D.A.V. Post Graduate College Muzaffarnagar, he worked for
Hidayattullah National Law University, Addis Ababa University Addis Ababa, Ethiopia,
Africa and contributed his professional services for Business Process Re-engineering
(BPR) and Development Studies in Ethiopia with collaboration of the Ministry of
Health, Ethiopia.
On account of his academic excellence in the subject, he is academic advisor to
various reputed institutions at Panipat, Kairtu and Bankhanda-Hapur. He has been
a visiting fellow/guest faculty at Pt. Ravi Shanker Shukla University for Research
Methodology for M.Phil and P.G. Department of Law at S.G.B.A. University for Human
Rights and Research Methods. He is also contributing for “Youth International Human
Rights” for India Chapter. He has guided many research students in completing their
dissertations and thesis (for M.Phil and LL.M.) in India and abroad. As on date
five research scholars are registered under him for doctoral (Ph.D.) research work.
He has delivered key note lectures at various local & national seminars and also
participated in various International conferences in India and abroad. A committed
academician and prolific writer, he has twelve publications to his credit, out of
which six are in International Journals. He has more than 13 years of teaching and
professional experience of different subjects in graduate and post graduate classes.
Recently Dr. Vaibhav has been empanelled to teach Law at NACEN for the training
of 61st Batch of IRS officers. His keen devotion, dedication and determination to
the cause of quality education is the foundation on which Subharti Law College is
established and is aspiring to gain recognition and national repute

Prof. Pintu Mishra

An artist par excellence, Prof. Pintu Mishra did his Post Graduation in Drawing
and Painting in the year 1988 from N.A.S. Degree College, Meerut.
Later he took up various courses like IGD, Mumbai in the year 1989, Advanced Diploma
in fine arts and ITI Textile Diploma from Delhi and NCR polytechnic & craft work,
Indore. He cleared all the exams with ‘A’ grade and his area of specialization is
painting. He has experimented and developed various media like acrylic color, oil
painting, water and poster color.
Through this media, he carved a niche for himself by establishing himself in the
realistic form of art. His work of art is much sought after by art lovers both in
India and abroad. Extra Shades and hues were added to the pallets of his life when
he won various prestigious awards.
He was conferred with the National Award by Delhi College of Art, New Delhi. His
perseverance, untiring devotion and unflagging zeal earned him much recognition
when he bagged the Kala Shree 2006 and Film and Media award in 2011. He has to his
credit the widely acclaimed exhibition ‘Kala Sahil’. He was recently decorated with
Rajiv Gandhi Award which was another feather added to his other 19.
Having authored various books on Fine Arts. Prof. Pintu Mishra, has achieved many
milestones in his young, illustrious career but he believes that, “the best is yet
too come”

It is headed by Mr. R. P. Singh. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses
with an intake capacity of 50 students in B.J.M.C., 20 in M.J.M.C., 05 in M.Phil.
and 50 in P.G.D.J.M.C.
The main facilities provided by the Institute to students
